Siya Kolisi
Leading with courage, inspiring a nation
Siya Kolisi's journey is one of courage, resilience and history-making moments. Growing up from humble beginnings, he rose up to become a national hero. In 2018, he made history as the first black captain of the Springboks in 127 years of the sport. An achievement that reshaped South African rugby and inspired millions.
Under his leadership, the Springboks united the country in 2019, lifting the Rugby World Cup trophy and returning South Africa to the top of the global ranking.
In 2020, we proudly welcomed Siya Kolisi as a brand ambassador, reflecting our commitment to sport, community upliftment and national development. His values of leadership, unity and resilience align perfectly with our vision for South Africa's future.
Since then, the Springboks, led by Kolisi, have continued to make history, securing a back-to-back Rugby World Cup win in 2023.
Together, FNB and Siya Kolisi continue to champion meaningful initiatives, including early childhood development, gender-based violence prevention, elderly care, family banking and shared values, and Grassroots to Greatness, all while fostering a love for the game.
